An Am Law 50 law firm with several offices worldwide, has an opening for an Attorney Career Development Manager within our Attorney Development Group in their New York and Washington, DC office.
Opportunity
The Attorney Career Development Manager (“CDM”) supports the career development of our Associates in New York, Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Denver by acting as a resource for career related questions, and through one-on-one consulting and coaching. The CDM works closely with the Attorney Development Group, members of the Talent Team, office and practice leadership, and the firm’s attorneys to promote talent development and attorney engagement and morale; creates and implements related plans and strategies. The CDM supports partners and practice leadership with attorney evaluations and performance management issues. The CDM supports the online alumni resource and related job opportunities.

Ideal Candidate
- JD with minimum four years of practice experience at a major law firm.
- Strong background in career development in a professional service environment preferred.
- Vision and passion for coaching and career development.
- Coaching certification and experience preferred.
