The New York Office of a premier, global, law firm is currently seeking an accomplished Administrative Assistant for the Corporate Practice.  They offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant will support attorneys in their Corporate Practice.  Candidates should be flexible to work overtime as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Position provides administrative support to busy attorneys in the Corporate Practice.  Duties include but are not limited to: document production, answering phones, maintaining calendars, coordinating and scheduling meetings, filing, travel arrangements, processing expenses, billing and time entries and other administrative duties as assigned. Work Hours are Monday through Friday 9am-6pm.

Skills & Competencies

Qualified candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be detail oriented, have excellent proofreading skills, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.  Successful candidates must also have strong client service skills, a positive attitude, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.  The successful candidate must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and flexible to work overtime.  Filesite experience a plus.

Qualifications & Prior Experience

Ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of corporate or legal administrative experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).  Prior law firm experience is a plus.
