Summary

The Assistant Legal Recruitment Coordinator provides support and assistance to the Firm’s Lateral Recruitment program.

Recruiting

  • Work closely with Lateral Recruitment Director on all aspects of lateral associate hiring, including responding to resume submissions, creating candidate files, maintaining profiles in the recruiting database, scheduling interviews and interfacing with candidates, recruiters and attorneys at the firm throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide support during the summer associate program and on-campus recruiting/callback season as needed and assigned.

Attorney Immigration

  • Work closely with the Lateral Recruitment Director and outside immigration counsel on obtaining and renewing H-1B, TN, J-1 and other visas for incoming and existing attorneys.
  • Act as a point person for attorneys on immigration-related questions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of related work experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to interface with professionals at various levels.
  • Must possess strong written, communication and organizational skills and must exercise discretion and judgement.
  • Basic proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Availability to work overtime on certain occasions.
