A major, Wall Street law firm, has an opening in our Corporate Department for a paralegal with Corporate experience or a graduating senior with a stellar academic record. This is an opportunity for someone that is interested in getting hands-on experience in a law firm. Ideal for a junior paralegal interested in making this a career goal or grads who plan to attend law school. As a Corporate paralegal, you will work directly with attorneys and clients during closings and corporate transactions; have responsibility for ongoing assignments with specific clients and attorneys; and assist attorneys with preparing corporate documents. Our paralegals become quickly involved as team members, providing key assistance to the transaction teams to which they are assigned.

The responsibilities of this position requires a 4 year college degree. The ideal candidate will be someone that exhibits leadership skills with a detail-oriented mindset; ability to adapt to new situations and work well in a team environment with a helpful attitude; the ability to maintain confidential information, exercise good judgment, and follow-through on assigned tasks. A 2 year commitment to the program is required for law school bound candidates. The position also requires flexibility to work some overtime hours.
