Technical Litigation Support Analyst I

Summary

The Technical Litigation Support Analyst I will be responsible for data loads, maintenance and auditing of litigation support databases to ensure data integrity, and supporting attorneys and members of the Litigation Services department in their use of the litigation support processes and systems.  This position is located in our New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and providing technical support for litigation support applications;
  • Providing senior management with periodic updates of all assigned tasks;
  • Working outside regular business hours to adequately complete tasks that have been pre-approved by senior management;
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the Firm’s databases and software including: Lotus Notes, CASEMAP, Relativity, CaseNotebook, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite applications as well as third party hosted databases;
  • Designing, building and modifying databases containing document data and images;
  • Performing maintenance on litigation support databases to ensure data integrity;
  • Loading and exporting data records and images into/from litigation support databases;
  • Tracking content and location information for data and image volumes loaded onto Firm network;
  • Performing quality control of in-house and vendor-generated work product;
  • Generating data and image sets for production;
  • Populating electronic media with data and image files as needed and verifies integrity of files copied to electronic media;
  • Loading and integrating videos (with transcripts) in deposition/video database;
  • Preparing laptops for use at deposition/arbitration/hearing/trial; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Entry level; 0-2 years related work experience preferred;
  • Experience as an end user with computers and databases;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or on a team with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to multitask; and
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and travel, as needed.
