Marketing Project Coordinator
Roseland, NJ
Large, national, law firm is seeking a candidate who has demonstrated drive, dedication, professionalism and a positive attitude. The coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing Communications and work closely with the Marketing and Business Development team to conceive of and execute client-facing and internal communications and editorial projects.
Essential Job Requirements
• Helps ensure all collateral materials are consistent with firm brand;
• Manages firm advertising, handling production in-house with pre-approved templates or working with agency to produce, as appropriate;
• Manages firm branded Word, In-design, and PowerPoint templates; assists in preparing firm and practice group materials using the templates;
• Provides editorial support as needed, including preparing short summaries of materials and light editing and proofing of marketing documents;
• Prepares materials connected to events including invitations, signage, leave-behinds, and other materials, working with the firm’s events team;
• Manages special projects to create firm branding materials including videos, special communications campaigns, and website content, working with the firms’ outside suppliers as needed;
• Manages firm photographic materials including bio head shots and images used on the website and for collateral with the help of the marketing assistant; this includes managing relationships with photographers, identifying images for use in materials and on website, ensuring library of photos is accessible and organized with the help of the marketing assistant, and ensuring that images are posted on the Website with the assistance of the digital specialist.
Ideal Candidate
• College degree. Communications, Journalism, or Marketing major preferred.
• One to four years’ experience in marketing or communications; Prior experience in a professional services organization is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent judgment; asks the right questions
• Ability to work effectively with other team members; strong relationship-building skills
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Able to communicate clearly verbally and in-writing
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing among competing tasks
