Real Estate Paralegal

A leading U.S. law firm with a renowned Real Estate practice, is seeking a Paralegal to support the Real Estate Practice Group in our New York office. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and possess a strong work ethic. The position requires a thorough knowledge of acquisition and sale transactions and commercial loan documentation, including experience in handling and overseeing closing requirements, contract administration and title, survey and leasing due diligence review, preparation of transaction authorizations and all as applied to commercial, industrial, retail and multi-family transactions in the New York marketplace and nationally.

Require a minimum of five (5) years of real estate paralegal experience. Experience in land use, co-ops and condos, and general corporate matters is beneficial but not a requirement for this position. Must be proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel, Westlaw, and on-line computer research. Ideal candidate must be able to work effectively and efficiently with attorneys, clients, lenders and outside organizations, and be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
