The Opportunity
Leading, forward thinking, global, law firm is looking for an experienced professional with a legal background (litigation) to help drive revenue to a billion-dollar, global law firm through strategic initiatives, client events, marketing materials, web, and interactive channels. This position is an ideal hybrid between legal services and marketing, and is a great opportunity for someone looking to transition from a more traditional legal background into legal marketing and business development.
You will work closely with the securities litigation partners and the broader litigation marketing team to create and customize targeted client pitches/RFPs; manage and track ongoing securities litigation matters; identify opportunities through research and analysis for new business opportunities; maintain, brand and create new client collateral materials that help drive new business. You are the point person to work with organizations and vendors to maximize sponsorship benefits and engagements. Plan events and marketing campaigns, work with cross-functional teams to help drive social media and PR, and maintain updated marketing materials across all channels. Ensure thorough execution of all deliverables, with data and content consistently accurate and well presented. Collaborate effectively with marketing colleagues and lawyers throughout the firm’s global network, including in Europe and Asia. Ensure client service and satisfaction is attained in all areas of the position.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. At least five years of relevant experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Working knowledge of litigation and legal research necessary, with direct work experience in securities litigation a plus.
- Impeccable project management skills.
- A strong verbal and written communicator.
- Solid knowledge of core marketing principles including branding, as well as competitive intelligence and market research, and pitch and RFP responses.
