Practice Team Assistant-Litigation

The New York office of a premier, global, law firm has an immediate opening for a Practice Team Assistant. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support for various administrative projects, marketing projects and duties in support of the timekeepers and secretaries in the Litigation Practice Group. In order to be successful in this role, candidates must have the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding discussions, records, files, documents and information. The assistant must also be able to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks while satisfactorily meeting deadlines and desired outcomes. Professional presentation and demeanor is required at all times. Candidates must have previous office experience in the Legal or Professional Services industry and a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong MS office skills, excellent phone skills, marketing experience, extraordinary attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication and proofreading skills.
