Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Law Student Recruitment Director and work closely with the Chief of Legal Personnel & Recruiting Officer and the Firm’s Hiring Partners
  • Manage all aspects of the Firm’s law student recruiting efforts, including the on-campus interview process, callback process, callback and offer dinners, 1L hiring, 1L recruiting events and campus outreach activities
  • Oversee and help implement all aspects of the Summer Associate Program, including planning and attending summer associate events, coordinating the mentoring program, and assist with the assignment process
  • Build strategic relationships with career services personnel, key law student groups and develop programming to advance the Firm’s recruiting strategies
  • Work closely with the Law Student Recruitment Director to write recruiting summary reports for the firm. 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Current law firm recruiting experience required; at least 5 years of overall work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, works collaboratively and is a team player.
  • Takes initiative and pushes projects forward, meets deadlines and has a strong work ethic.
  • Experience supervising and train others.
  • Must be client-service oriented, able to work with attorneys and staff at all levels and establish effective working relationships throughout the Firm.
  • Must be highly motivated, creative, flexible and results-oriented and have the ability to prioritize appropriately.
  • Significant travel in the U.S. and Canada will be required during the August and Spring 1L Recruiting seasons.
