Job Description

Assist the Director, Attorney Development & Training with CLE administration, special projects and other professional development programs.

  • Serve as a primary CLE contact for the firm, including notifying attorneys of upcoming deadlines, communicating rule changes, and assisting with extension/modification requests and other CLE items as needed.
  • Keep abreast of attorney CLE requirements and work with the Director, Specialist, training faculty and global PD contacts to ensure that programs comply with applicable CLE requirements.
  • Coordinate weekly internal and external training programs.
  • Work with the Director and Professional Development Committee to develop, implement and assess the firm’s training programs.
  • Support the Director, Professional Development Committee, Attorney Programs and Resources Team and US office contacts to create and execute initiatives and programs that promote attorney engagement and development.
  • Work with the Attorney Programs and Resources Team and global contacts to implement new associate orientation and mentoring programs.
  • Maintain CLE tracking database, including data input and distributing CLE certificates.
  • Maintain the firm’s training website, including posting programs, relevant announcements, updates, etc.
  • Assist with special projects and collaborate with other firm departments as needed.
  • Any other responsibilities or special projects as assigned by management. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 3+ years’ experience supporting and assisting with professional development programs for lawyers preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CLE administration.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • A demonstrated ability and strong desire to work as part of a team in a demanding, client-centered legal services environment. 

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work and educational experience.
  • JD a plus.
