Floater Legal Secretary
Day Shift 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming administrative tasks.
- Answering and screening telephone calls for attorneys.
- Document production and editing utilizing: Windows7, Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, Nuance PDF Converter, Best Authority, Elite Webview, CompareDocs, and similar software.
- Big Hand Dictation
- Assist with document conversion and clean up; create and revise complex legal documents adhering to Firm styles and guidelines.
- E-filing
- Create and edit Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents using Legal MacPac.
- Entering Attorney time in Webview.
- Fill out expense reports.
- Prepare outgoing mail and sorting incoming mail, prepare express delivery packages.
- Perform day to day duties of department secretary when requested or required by department operations.
- May be assigned coverage of a particular secretarial absence.
Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of multiple software: Microsoft Office 2010, DM System, Windows 7
- Ability to multi task
- Strong Secretarial Organizational Skills
- Ability to effectively meet and communicate
- Ability to make independent judgments
