Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with On Campus Interviews (OCI), including but not limited to OCI registration, hospitality suite organization, interviewer materials preparation, attendance tracking, reception/dinner planning, callback scheduling, and letter processing. Track follow-up with candidates and lawyers
- Schedule interviews for summer associate candidates; Distribute interview itineraries using LawCruit; Assemble and distribute interview packets; Greet and walk summer associate candidates; Solicit candidate evaluations from interviewers to ensure complete evaluation files
- Assist with all aspects of the summer associate program including arrival logistics, planning and attending all events, updating the calendar and sending reminders, making nametags, maintaining spreadsheets, coordinating travel logistics for events, maintaining summer associate evaluation files, and generating offer letters
- Maintain recruiting reports and assist with the preparation of materials for Hiring Committee Meetings
- Plan and attend events for first year law students; track student follow up and schedule mock interviews
- Administrative support including general filing, conference room reservations, and catering requests ·
- Coordinate large-scale mailings/evites to law schools and students
- Process and track expense vouchers and invoices; invoice other firms for shared fall recruiting expenses
- Update on-line department calendar
- Review and organize the recruiting department email inbox
- Track sponsorship requests
- Other responsibilities as they may be assigned from time to time
Education and Experience
- A 4 year college degree required
- 1-2 years related experience preferred; experience working in a fast-paced law firm or professional services environment preferred
- Must have basic computer skills in Excel and Word. Knowledge of LawCruit a plus
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be a strong team-player · Must have superior organizational skills and have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to juggle multiple tasks with competing tight deadlines
- Exhibit a high energy level and have a professional demeanor
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Availability to work overtime over a sustained period of time
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Must be available to report to work on regularly scheduled days and at the scheduled hour
