Litigation Paralegal

Our New York office is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 0-2 years of experience. Our litigation paralegals work side by side with lawyers on challenging matters. In this role, you will gain valuable, real-world legal experience. The work covers all stages of litigation, from the beginning of a case through discovery and on to trial, post-trial findings, and appeals. Paralegals aid in the daily maintenance of cases, assist with document productions, and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. Principal responsibilities include: coordinating the organization of case documents and other materials (including preparing binders and maintaining databases), conducting factual research, and working on court filings. Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s degree. Success factors include: a strong academic background, excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. The Paralegal must be a team player and have the ability to maintain good working relationships with personnel and to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.  Overtime may often be required on short notice.
