Marketing Coordinator-Institutional Services

Overview

Founded in 1969, a privately owned equity research boutique with approximately $27 billion in assets under management.  They offer their services through mutual funds, separate accounts, institutional private accounts, and ETFs.  Each of their long‐only equity strategies is managed using a bottom‐up, fundamental approach to investing.   The Institutional Services Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the creation and on‐ going quality control of both internal and external marketing deliverables and communications for the company.  The role will involve regular interaction with senior members of marketing, sales, reporting, compliance and legal teams in their New York and Tucson offices.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update marketing presentations for prospects and existing clients across multiple strategies and vehicles
  • Maintain customer relationship management (“CRM”) database and profiles of key accounts
  • Assist with quarterly portfolio commentaries and interpretation of attribution data
  • Assist with RFPs/RFIs/DDQs to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Prepare competitive analysis documents and other reports for internal distribution
  • Assist with meeting logistics and other administrative tasks
  • Ad hoc requests Requirements ‐Superb process and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Candidates should be self‐motivated and highly detail‐oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to adjust to a dynamic workload
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Experience using Salesforce or other CRM database a plus. Knowledge of analytics databases such as eVestment or Morningstar also a plus
  • Minimum of 2‐5 years of experience in financial services and/or marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree
