Reports to: Corporate Department Legal Personnel Director 

Job Description

Under the direction of the Corporate Department Legal Personnel Director, assists with associate staffing and professional development, support of practice group leaders and administration of the Corporate Department.  

Responsibilities

  • Assist assigning partners and Corporate Department Legal Personnel Director with associate staffing and workflow.
  • Assists in tracking, monitoring and reporting for the Corporate Department.
  • Coordinates departmental and practice group meetings and special events for the Corporate Department.
  • Assist the Corporate Department Legal Personnel Director with various other administrative duties.
  • Liaise with recruiting, professional development, business development and finance departments in furtherance of the above. 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, J.D. a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of law firm experience.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel. Lotus Notes a plus.
  • Proactive, energetic, hardworking team player.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Must have highly developed organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Creativity in developing solutions and achieving results.
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and sense of confidentiality.
