Professional Development Administrative Assistant

Overview
This individual will assist the Professional Development (PD) team with all administrative tasks relating to associate professional development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain internal records pertaining to associate arrivals and departures, leaves and transfers.
- Assist PD team with preparation of monthly hour’s reports.
- Organize and help PD team prepare for quarterly staffing meetings.
- Provide general administrative assistance in connection with the Mentoring Program, including event planning, sending out monthly emails and organizing quarterly mentor meetings.
- Assist PD team with general administrative projects related to the annual lawyer review processes, including maintaining associate profiles, proofreading and sending reminder emails.
- Organize and facilitate associate coaching.
- Organize and facilitate associate trainings.
- Assist PD team with ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must be comfortable interfacing with lawyers of all levels of seniority.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, client service, and written and verbal communicational skills.
- Exercises good judgment, has excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proactive team player.
- Ability to multi-task among competing demands.
