Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant, responsibilities include answering phones, filing and document organization, transcribing dictation, creating and finalizing documents in Word, inputting attorney time, coordinating monthly billing, coordinating meetings, welcoming guests and clients, setting up travel arrangements and other related tasks. This role will support three attorneys, two partners and an associate.
Examples of Specific Responsibilities Include
General administrative duties including filing, answering phones, scheduling meetings and calls, responding to emails on your attorneys’ behalf, logging and submitting receipts for reimbursement, and some light paralegal work (preparing engagement letters, editing and revising documents, etc.); managing your attorneys’ entire billing process including logging time sheets, sorting bills for review and scanning/emailing bills out to clients; and writing first drafts of emails and letters. Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook is also required.
