Finance Manager

Reports to: CFO

Responsibilities

  • Periodic and year end general ledger reconciliatio
  • Schedules and information requested by the firm’s external auditor for the annual review and tax return preparatio
  • Perform bookkeeping and monthly reporting for one additional nonprofit entity.
  • Compilation of monthly reports including all financial statements and covenant calculations as required by the firm’s financial instituti
  • Maintenance of schedules of furniture and equipment to be leased and coordination with the leasing company to initiate payments to vendor
  • Preparation of partner capital contributions and partner capital loans schedules, as well as coordination with partners and the firm’s financial institution regarding applications for new loans and receipt of loan paym
  • Participate in compiling data necessary for the firm’s annual budget, compensation reviews and statistical survey

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance.
  • CPA license pr
  • Familiarity with financial statements, cash basis and accrual
  • Proficiency with financial and management reporting
  • Law firm (preferred) or other professional services firm experience
  • 5+ year’s public accounting experience
  • Familiarity with Elite, QuickBooks, FRx, SQL, Crystal Reports, Aderant
  • Experience working in an international organization required; must be able to interact in a multicurrency environ
  • Detail and service orient
  • A self-starter and team player with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the or
  • Strong with written and oral communication skill
