Corporate Business Development Content Coordinator

Overview
The Corporate Business Development Content Coordinator will contribute to the preparation of corporate content for submissions to legal ranking publications and other Firm marketing purposes. The Corporate Business Development Content Coordinator will also assist with identifying and implementing submissions best practices and strategy development for the corporate submissions and content.
Responsibilities
Working with the Corporate Business Development Content Manager to prepare submissions to surveys, directories and legal ranking publications; draft partner biographies, practice overviews, matter descriptions and other content on the Firm’s website; coordinate submissions interviews; prepare interview materials; prepare comparative rankings analysis reports; analyze ranking results; draft summary memoranda for partners and senior management; identify submissions deadlines and key project milestones; update and maintain the corporate submission tracking calendars, project timelines and work plans; maintain submissions-related databases, document and information; conduct research on submissions-related opportunities and other content-related matters; assist with the implementation of an efficient and effective submissions process; developing annual submissions goals and strategy; and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing, Business, English or Communications; 2+ years of prior office experience, preferably in a large law firm, legal marketing experience preferred; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; excellent analytical and research skills; excellent customer service skills; ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines; strong attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team; ability to take initiative to drive assignments involving a large volume of information to completion; sound reasoning and judgment to work effectively without prior precedent and maintain confidentiality and discretion; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of or a desire to learn about corporate practice areas such as mergers and acquisitions, securities, commercial lending, securities regulation and tax; knowledge of InterAction and iManage preferred; and experience with research databases (e.g., Capital IQ).
