Litigation Business Development Content Coordinator

Overview

The Litigation Business Development Content Coordinator will contribute to the preparation of litigation content for legal ranking publications and for Firm marketing purposes. The Litigation Business Development Content Coordinator will also assist with identifying and implementing best practices for litigation submissions and content.

Responsibilities

Working with or assisting the Litigation Business Development Content Manager in a highly collaborative environment to prepare submissions to surveys, directories and other legal ranking publications; drafting partner biographies, practice overviews, matter descriptions and other content for marketing purposes; coordinating submissions interviews; preparing interview materials; preparing comparative rankings analysis reports; analyzing ranking results and drafting summary memoranda for senior management; identifying submissions deadlines and key project milestones; updating and maintaining litigation submission tracking calendars, project timelines and work plans; maintaining internal submissions-related electronic databases; maintaining archives of submissions-related documents and information; conducting research on submissions opportunities and other content-related matters; assisting with the implementation of an efficient and effective submissions process; developing annual submissions goals and strategies; and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing, Business, English or Communications; 2+ years of prior office experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional service firm; legal marketing experience preferred; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent archiving and organizational skills; excellent analytical and research skills; excellent customer service skills; ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines; strong attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team; ability to take initiative to drive assignments involving a large volume of information; sound reasoning and judgment to work effectively without prior precedent and to maintain confidentiality and discretion; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of litigation practice areas such as securities, antitrust, intellectual property and investigations/white collar; knowledge of InterAction and iManage preferred; and experience with research databases (e.g., PACER).
