The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the implementation and maintenance of all benefit plans and coordinating all benefits changes, invoice payments and legal compliance related to benefits as follows:

Essential Job Requirements

• Coordinate, maintain and administer of all firm-wide employee benefit programs including medical, dental, life, short and long-term disabilities, EAP, etc., in a timely and organized manner.
• Process all benefits enrollments and changes.
• Track and process disability forms, FMLA and State leave correspondence.
• Maintain organized medical, leaves of absence, etc.
• Make arrangements for annual HIPAA training requirements and coordinate CMS reporting when necessary.
• Interface with insurance brokers and individual carriers to arrange enrollment meetings and to escalate issues when they arise.
• Participate in the design and implementation of benefits programs.

The Ideal Candidate

• 5 years of experience in Human Resources Benefits role.
• College degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources.
• Knowledge of employee benefits programs and ability to be the point of contact.
• Highly proficient computer skills to include database management, reporting, and user assistance.
• Speed and accuracy as well as a comfort level with the accounting and reconciliation of numbers.
