Recruiting Coordinator
Job Description
Coordinate full life cycle recruiting function and provide administrative support to the HR team.
Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions
- Responsible for recruiting administrative functions
- Create and post job requisitions, internally and externally, in Workday
- Communicate with hiring managers and hiring committees regarding recruitment needs for open positions
- Maintain and edit job descriptions
- Accurately enter and track applicants into recruiting platform HRIS (Workday)
- Post job advertisements on external websites, such as Linkedin and Career Builder
- Assist with sourcing candidates and creating a pipeline of viable prospects via various sources, such as career sites and databases
- Schedule and conduct a high volume of phone screens and interviews
- Ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process
- Responsible for submitting background checks, drafting offer letters, and communicating decline letters
- Communicate with other HR departments, such as Compensation, HRIS, and Benefits regarding recruitment, offer, and onboarding processes
- Handle candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain and build relationships with sourcing agencies and ensure compliance with agency placement agreements
- Provide back-up support on Workday Recruiting troubleshooting
- Track consultantand temporary employee candidates that are submitted from sourcing agencies
- Facilitate the process of hiring and onboarding consultants and temporary employees for hiring managers
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including but not limited to sending out correspondences, screening calls and taking messages, ordering supplies, food, etc.
- Any additional responsibilities as required by management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 2+ years recruiting experience role within a fast-paced corporate environment, ideally in a professional services or law firm environment
- Additional Human Resources experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work on confidential matters
- Prior experience in scheduling and calendar management at a high volume
- Highly energetic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work with a “service” mentality
- Must be able to work directly with all levels within the firm
- Excellent listening skills with strong follow-up skills
- Strong attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Extremely strong organizational skills
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills required
- Previous experience working with Workday or other HRIS platforms required
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related degree (Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, etc.) or equivalent education and experience required
