Senior Designer

Summary

Premier, global, law firm is seeking a Senior Designer to be located in its New York office. As a core member of the firm’s creative team, the Senior Designer provides design assistance on a wide range of internal and external marketing initiatives. The position is responsible for promoting brand consistency by educating internal constituencies about Firm’s brand principles and established brand standards. Specific responsibilities include working closely with the creative director and other members of the creative team to craft visual solutions within established standards for various needs. The range of projects includes print materials, email communications, website graphics, event staging, video and presentations. 

Qualifications

Candidates must possess 5+ years of relevant work experience and a thorough understanding of graphic design principles. Also required are expert-level skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat and a strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Skills in video editing and a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere are preferred. Also preferred is experience in photography, videography and audio recording and a familiarity with cross-platform issues and graphic file formats. A Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field is highly preferred. Successful candidates will have sensitivity to project time and resource constraints and the ability to communicate design thinking to a non-design audience.
