Human Resources Manager
Hours: 9:00-5:00 pm
Reports Directly to CEO
A world leader in precious metals/recycling technology for over thirty (30) years is seeking an HR Manager to spearhead their brand new offices in NYC. The ideal candidate in this role will be a like-minded team member who shares our vision and is eager to help us grow as a firm. The HR Manager will manage the essential functionality required of the role but the ideal candidate would carry this same mentality of innovation and assist in driving the growth and operation of the company.
Responsibilities
- Administer personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics
- Implementing and delivering Human Resources support including benefits, administration, payroll, compensation, and employee onboarding
- Coach team members on individual development and develop processes for growth on both the individual and organizational level.
- Build up and maintain strong recruiting pipeline in both the legal and technology arenas
- Support general office related tasks to ensure our office runs smoothly
- Cultivate office culture and core values while ensuring employee engagement and happiness
Requirements
- 4-year college degree required with an HR administration focus preferred
- 3+ Years of Human Resources Experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and passionate about Human Resources in the workplace
- Flexibility to operate in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment
- Ability to self-direct, see what needs to be done and do it
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee data with discretion and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience in a Global start-up environment is preferred
