Restructuring & Reorganization Paralegal

Overview

Premier, global, law firm is currently searching for an experienced bankruptcy paralegal to provide support for the Restructuring and Reorganization practice group.  This position involves contact with clients and requires an individual who is extremely detail-oriented, organized, self-starter and able to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in matters on behalf of debtors, lender groups, official creditor committees, secured and unsecured creditors and trustees.
• Experience with all phases of the restructuring and reorganization process including Chapter 11
• Electronic document review.
• Privilege review and privilege logs; analyzing data; and creating document binders.
• Requires flexibility in working with many different personalities in a fast-paced environment with occasional long hours. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background required.
• Technical Skills: in Best Case Bankruptcy, Pacer, West Law, Summation, Concordance, Microsoft Windows, MS Word, Adobe, Excel, and Internet preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• E-Filing in various courts.
