EDGAR Specialist
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for all EDGAR production needs. Coordinate intake of EDGAR work and assignments. Ensure deadlines are met.
- Produce work and execute filings in a timely and effective manner and demonstrate the ability to manage and oversee large and small EDGAR projects and bring them to successful completion. Effectively prioritize workflow.
- Work with Word Processing manager and corporate attorneys on the development of EDGAR procedures and training opportunities.
- Responsible for administrative tasks related to EDGAR including reporting, billing, maintenance of work logs, etc. Maintain log of EDGAR projects.
- Work closely and directly with department manager, coordinators, attorneys and staff to assist with all EDGAR needs, and advise on best practices to accomplish goals.
- Meet with corporate attorneys on a regular basis to gather feedback data and recommend new procedures.
- Keep current on latest EDGAR technologies.
- Work with outside vendors and have solid knowledge of outside filing resources.
- Assist with Corporate Paralegal and related administrative duties and special projects as needed.

Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree desired and a minimum of five (5) years experience in EDGAR management and client interaction within a legal environment.
- Must have an outstanding knowledge of all SEC policies and procedures for all form types and submissions.
- Expert proficiency in the EDGARizer software including Edgar Forms. Additionally, must be highly proficient in EdgarEase+, MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe. Solid knowledge of XBRL required.
- Exceptional knowledge in related EDGAR hardware/software (i.e., printers, scanners, PCs, document and database storage needs, Internet access and use, etc.).
