Land Use Planner

Premier, global, law firm is seeking a Land Use Planner in their Reston, VA office who will work under the supervision of Land Use Attorneys and Senior Land Use Planners. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience working on real estate project development. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: assisting in the preparation and management of rezoning and land development applications; assisting with processing of permits and bonds; performing land use, zoning, title and survey due diligence; preparing for and participating at public hearings. A bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is a plus and degrees in urban planning, urban design or related field are strongly preferred. Applicants must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details. Applicant must have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with personnel and to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly. Overtime will be required, occasionally on short notice.
