Trademark Litigation Paralegal

The Newark, NJ office a large, regional, law firm is seeking a Trademark Litigation Paralegal with at least two (2) years’ experience.  The Paralegal will report to the Paralegal Manager and be responsible for performing the job functions listed below. This list represents a general overview of work; additional duties and responsibilities may be added at the discretion of the Paralegal Manager.

• Knowledge of litigation terms and procedures.
• Proficient in case maintenance (organization of files such as correspondence, pleadings, discovery, etc.).
• Experience with large document production, including production logs and privilege logs.
• Exposure to document reviews.
• Must be able to assist in all aspects of depositions.
• Must be able to digest deposition transcripts.
• Proficient in utilizing Lexis/Nexis and Westlaw.
• Ability to cite check (bluebooking), shepardize and proof-read briefs and other court documents.
• Know how to utilize ECF/PACER.
• Must have experience with Relativity, Concordance/Ipro, Summation, and/or Livenote.
• Experience with trials including organization of trial exhibits, trial notebooks and witness designations.
• Travel and overtime as required.
• Paralegal certificate a plus.
• 2+ years’ experience preferred.
• At least a BA/BS required.
