Litigation Assistant

Boutique law firm, specializing in Litigation and Corporate matters, is seeking an administrative assistant and/or paralegal to support a Founding Partner and his team. This is an extremely busy role so the client is seeking a high energy, proactive, professional. Since this is a client facing opportunity polish and professionalism is a must. Strong written and verbal communication is a must as well. This role is 60% administrative and 40% litigation/paralegal oriented.
You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
You Must Be:
- A professional with good interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter who is proactive and unafraid to ask questions.
- Willing to be part of a team, while also being able to work independently.
- Able and willing to take on additional responsibilities and/or new projects.
- Able to accomplish tasks with care and attention to detail.
- Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality and be a hands-on problem solver.
Mid-Level Litigation Assistant and/or Paralegal Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Arrange, confirm and manage calendars; schedule meetings, depositions, and conferences.
- Act as the contact point regarding information, updates, and billing for litigation and clients.
- Prepare litigation plans, budgets, motions, answers, FINRA responses, and SEC responses.
- Edit presentations and reports; produce and prepare all necessary materials for client meetings.
- Manage telephone and email communications, prioritizing emails and correspond with clients.
- Coordinate travel and meeting arrangements.
