Marketing Assistant
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer, Global Director-Marketing & Communications, Global Director- Digital Marketing & Operations
Role Summary
The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing & Business Development team provides direct administrative support to the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer, Global Director, Marketing Communications and Global Director, Digital Marketing & Operations. Administrative support includes coordination of internal and external meetings, travel arrangements, expense reports and light phone duty. In addition the Assistant will support a variety of special projects as assigned. Support provided may include research, analysis, logistics and planning, project management, data entry, drafting and communications, user training, and organizational or administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings/schedules, answer phones, manage calendar, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Support various projects as assigned e.g. branding initiative, industry initiative, office opening and key client events, Partners’ Retreat, etc.
- Liaise with various firm committee members and assistants to support the efforts and goals of the department and firm.
- Process expenses reports for CMO and Global Directors.
- Use of firm CRM system (InterAction)
- Maintain department organization charts and outlook distribution lists.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations under tight deadlines.
- Maintain dept. phone/quick job description directory on intranet site.
- Support on-boarding of department staff (e.g., making sure they have offices, computers, phones, etc.) and any comparable activities related to exiting staff.

Education & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field required
- 1-2 years of work experience in a professional services environment
Desirable
- Prior marketing, business development, communications experience
- Law firm experience a plus
