Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney

The Los Angeles office of a premier, global, law firm seeks a Trusts & Estates attorney with 10 plus years of experience to join their Taxation, Trusts & Estates Department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trust administration and sophisticated estate planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families. Significant experience in drafting estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, is required. Excellent academic credentials, as well as strong written, interpersonal and communication skills, are required. Large firm experience and an LLM in Taxation are preferred. Admission to the State Bar of California is required.

The firm reasonably expects to pay between $275,000.00-$325,000.00 base compensation annually for this position. The base compensation offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the selected candidate’s qualifications and years of relevant experience. Additionally, associates who meet the firm’s minimum performance standards (including billing at least 1900 hours), can reasonably expect total compensation (base salary plus a discretionary bonus) of $475,000.00. The discretionary bonus may also be increased based on the number of hours billed and collected in excess of 1900 hours. Separately, the Firm credits associates with an additional bonus on work they originate.
