Senior Tax Attorney

Premier, full service, law firm is actively searching for a tax attorney, preferably at the partner level, and with at least 12 years of experience (more is preferred). The position requires a broad range of experience in tax and corporate matters that arise in the course of representing middle market companies and high net worth individuals. While portable business would be a positive, it is not a requirement since the primary need is for a person who has the required level of experience to handle the ongoing workflow. Note, however, that business generation is an opportunity for a “service” partner to earn additional compensation, with the firm paying, on a monthly basis, a percentage of collected originations across all practice areas. Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, pedigree, etc., base compensation could be anywhere from $225,000.00-$325,000.00, plus bonus. There is no set billable hour requirement.

- Tax litigation can be in Tax Court, Federal District Court or the Court of Federal Claims, or it may be criminal in the event of tax fraud
