Summary

Premier, boutique, international trade and customs, law firm is seeking a Paralegal to provide technical and substantive support to their International Trade Group. The firm has represented thousands of exporters, importers and producers from around the world in Antidumping and Countervailing Duty investigations, other international trade disputes and customs proceedings before government agencies and the courts. Th firm’s International Trade Group is highly regarded in the industry and well-known for handling large and complex international trade matters.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the compiling and filing of substantive submissions before U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Filing of time sensitive matters before U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Researching different industries in multiple countries.
• Preparation and monitoring of Protests and Prior Disclosures.
• Monitoring of US Customs & Border Protections ACE portal.
• Translation of Chinese documents and website information.

Requirements

• Seeking 3+ years of experience.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ACCESS Database and Business Intelligent tools.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle large projects for multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work as a cohesive team member.
• Ability to work independently, identify priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and matters with tight deadlines.
• Fluent in Mandarin
• Four-year undergraduate degree.
• Prior experience with US Customs & Border Protections ACE portal preferred but not required.

Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience, targeting $65,000.00-$75,000.00, plus overtime and bonus.
