Summary
At our client, an international law firm, they take pride in their work through impactful communication, collaboration, and community involvement. The New York office of our client is conducting a search for a Real Estate group paralegal with 3+ years of experience with a strong background in reviewing titles and survey documents. This paralegal will assist attorneys in all stages of real estate transactions, closings and with the preparation of documents necessary to comply with federal, state, and local regulations in the conduct of business activities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, team player, and possess strong organizational skills. Overtime is sometimes needed to meet client deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys on commercial real estate financing transactions.
- Conduct thorough title and survey reviews and prepare summaries for attorney and client review.
- Facilitate deal closing procedures for transactions by preparing and organizing binders.
- Support attorneys in managing timelines and coordinating closings.
- Work directly with attorneys and clients during due diligence.
- Assist attorneys with drafting initial draft loan documents, document maintenance, formatting, signature pages, memorandums, correspondence, and indexing.
- Draft and revise closing checklists, escrow instructions, and closing binders.
- Support attorneys in managing timelines and coordinating closings.

- Availability to work a minimum of four days per week in-office, with flexibility for overtime as needed.

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$110,000.00, plus overtime and bonus and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of the posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidates experience and qualifications. This range is specific to the client’s NYC office and may not be applicable to other locations. Will compensate higher for the right level if experience and internal equity.EEOC
