CLE Coordinator

Summary
A leading national law firm is seeking a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Licensure Coordinator based out of the Kansas City office. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the firm’s CLE and Licensure function and reports to the CLE and Licensure Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Firm’s CLE programming, coordinating CLE accreditation and delivery for internal programs and external client events, including live trainings, both on- and off-site and in on-line programs.
- Process attendance forms and issue CLE certificates for internal and client CLE programs. Ensure internal attendance forms are properly maintained in the Firm’s internal database.
- Maintain CLE-related technology platforms and/or databases, including the Firm’s Learning Management System; troubleshoot access issues and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate firm-wide payment processes for bar dues and professional memberships, ensuring timely renewal, accurate tracking and communication with attorneys and other professional staff.
- Respond to attorney and professional staff questions regarding the CLE process; accurate and timely scheduling of CLE programming for internal and external attendees.
- Build relationships with CLE authorities, stay current on regulatory guidelines, ensure compliance with relevant regulations in multiple jurisdictions and communicate relevant guidelines to attorneys and professional staff as needed.
- Support event coordination including logistics such as venue selection, room setup, catering, and audio-visual needs.
- Assist the CLE manager and team with other special projects and Department needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field. Previous experience working in the legal industry preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Dedication to accuracy, precision, and diligence in all projects and tasks.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills with clear, professional, and collaborative communication in both written and verbal interactions.
- Analytical and detail oriented, while being able to balance competing priorities.
- Excellent personal organizational skills and ability to track tasks, progress and next steps, as well as reporting on same to leadership.
- Demonstrate ownership for delivering customized projects with a degree of autonomy; adept at supporting several projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and internal document management systems.
Compensation: $70,000.00-$85,000.00. annually, plus overtime.
