Business Development Manager-Artificial Intelligence

Responsibilities
- Develop AI-related content and campaigns working closely with attorneys, the AI analyst, and other stakeholders.
- Serve as project manager for internal communications, such as newsletters, our intranet, and webinar trainings that educate our attorneys on AI offerings.
- Maintain a list of client targets for AI-related work, both existing clients and new targets. Research key players at targets to develop a plan to obtain new work.
- Identify and manage the key organizations with which to partner on AI business development efforts, as well as top technology industry conferences and events.
- Partner with the Communications team to develop a PR/communications plan for the AI practice.
- Coordinate and execute Firm events focused on AI that serve the group’s strategic goals, including marquee tech industry events. Offer creative ideas for connecting meaningfully with clients and prospects in the AI and technology industry.
- Develop customized pitches/RFPs, presentations, marketing materials, bios, practice group descriptions and website content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. At least seven years of relevant experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of core marketing principles including driving innovative tools and programs, competitive intelligence, client targeting, event planning, market research, and pitch and RFP responses.
- Passionate about AI. Possesses an understanding of legal practices critical to AI companies and other potential clients implementing AI technologies.
- High degree of motivation, with driving sense of responsibility, accountability, and responsiveness.
- Excellent writing skills. Ability to focus written materials to ensure impact on general business, legal, and niche populations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions under deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail in all areas, including writing, copy editing, researching, and managing data.

Compensation
- New York, San Francisco, Palo Alto salary range: $140,000-$195,000.00, plus bonus
- Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Washington, D.C. salary range: $133,000.00-$186,000.00, plus bonus
- Denver salary range: $125,000.00-$174,000.00, plus bonus
