Finance Attorney (Senior Associate)-Structured Finance

Summary
Premier, global, law firm has an immediate need for a highly qualified Senior Associate with 6+ years of experience representing Lenders in Structured Finance transactions and securitizations to join their growing Finance Group in the New York Office.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience representing private credit lenders in secured financing transactions in middle market sponsored and non-sponsored secured lending transactions, including cash flow financings, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, encompassing both senior and junior capital facilities. Experience with restructurings, cross-border transactions and asset-based financings is a plus. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commitment papers, term sheets, credit agreements, collateral documents, intercreditor agreements, and generally leading and supervising all aspects of lending transactions.

Qualifications
- You have six (6)+ years of big law firm asset-based finance experience representing private credit funds and direct lenders in secured finance transactions. Experience with cross-border transactions, restructurings and workouts, and familiarity with intercreditor arrangements is a plus.
- You are experienced in managing components of transactions independently.
- You are a highly-motivated and proactive team player with a results-oriented work ethic, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable client relationship skills.
- You are a member of the State Bar of New York.
- Strong academic credentials and strong prior Big Law work experience required.

Compensation
Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
New York, NY annual salary range: $390,000.00- $435,000.00, plus bonus.
