Summary

The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst will oversee databases, software, and computer systems the Firm uses to manage its human resources data. They are in charge of maintaining the system, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the monthly analytical reports – Headcount & Annual Turnover Reports for staff and attorneys
  • Prepare and upload files to various SFTP sites for the Benefits and HR Department;
  • Work closely with the IT Department on HR Export files coming from our HRIS and any discrepancies with our data that flows over to other databases;
  • Work closely with Dayforce support to troubleshoot any issues that can’t be resolved on the front-end of our system;
  • Prepare and set up platforms for annual procedures such as bonus and merit cycles and evaluation program;
  • Manage EEO-1/2 Compliance Reporting;
  • Manage NJ Certificate EEO Compliance Information;
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on our ISO team regarding Dayforce security matters, ensuring that all personal identification information is secured and that we are compliant with data security and privacy requirements;
  • Responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HRIS in collaboration with the HR, payroll/Finance, benefits, and IT functions;
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions;
  • Work collaboratively with system users to optimize the user experience and ensure compliance by answering system user questions; identifying, researching, and resolving or escalating issues; ensuring users are updated on status of issues in a timely manner;
  • Provides day-to-day support to HRIS stakeholders within the HR, Payroll, and Technology teams as well as to end users (employees and managers);
  • Develop innovative solutions, including business reports, train users, develop reports and customized dashboards;
  • Supports security configuration and management to ensure appropriate control of access to data and system;
  • Manage maintenance and accuracy and integrity of employee data, for reporting and distribution;
  • Recommends and creates data auditing reports and procedures to ensure the accuracy of all HR data;
  • Supports the organizational training systems by developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation;
  • Manage the company’s relationship with system vendors and be the primary point of contact for service level agreements and issue resolution;
  • Builds and delivers integrations between HRIS and other systems (both internal and external); and
  • Leads the assessing, testing, and managing of system upgrades and new releases, anticipated to be 2-3 times per year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4 – 6 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst.
  • Strong expertise with an HRIS, Benefits, Attendance, Payroll, Reporting, etc.
  • Proven Project management or Project Leading experience on HR system implementations, improvements, and ongoing support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as technical proficiency with HR management systems.
  • Experience with Data Analytics.

Physical Demands of Position

  • Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the following during the work day:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (working at a computer)
  • Repetitive movement (i.e. heavy computer/keyboard use).
  • Individual will interact regularly with others verbally, in-person, and via written communication.
  • May require occasional light lifting (files, copy paper, etc.).

Compensation

The pay for this position will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, education, external market data, internal equity, and other job-related factors. The anticipated pay range for this role is $70,000 – $90,000 annually, nonexempt.
