The Real Estate Paralegal supports Real Estate practice area with drafting documents for all real estate related transactions including real estate lending matters and commercial sales/lease deals which include escrow instructions, estoppels certificates, tenant notices, requests for consent, corporate authority documents, UCC statements and attachments, etc.
Responsibilities
- Order and review title/survey documents, review leases and prepare abstract summaries;
- Participate in closings (ranging from small single site closings to large multi-site, multi-state, multi-million dollar closings);
- Experience in commercial real estate finance transactions;
- Participate in/assist with managing due diligence document reviews;
- Coordinate the recordation of mortgages and other documents;
- Prepare and file UCC statements
- Coordinate post-closing distributions and other post-closing work including the preparation of closing sets for all involved parties;
- Assist associates with closing checklists and preparation of post-closing document files;
- Prepare and coordinate filing of organizational documents including EINS, Certificates of Formation, local applications of authority, etc.

Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Paralegal certificate from ABA approved paralegal program is a plus
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of experience
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $66,000-$140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
