Coordinator-Digital Marketing
Summary
The coordinator – digital marketing is responsible for assisting with efforts to enhance the Firm’s digital marketing initiatives. This role will support innovation in all areas of digital marketing, such as the web site, email marketing and social media. As coordinator, he/she will require an understanding of digital channels in order to assist with strategy and development. The coordinator will work closely with the senior manager of digital marketing and the director of communications.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Support the team with creating and managing content, setting strategy for the web site and social media platforms, and completing research projects as needed.
Perform ongoing marketing material updates such as:
- assisting with the standardization of lawyer bios across platforms;
- assisting with creating and publishing news, event and publication items on a daily basis;
- contributing to reviewing and reporting on web site technical issues on an ongoing basis; and
- general collaboration on web site-related initiatives.
Become proficient in the Firm’s email marketing system.
Coordinate the Firm’s internal weekly newsletter by being responsible for data collection and entry, as well as reviewing materials to ensure grammatical accuracy and consistency.
Assist with reporting on digital trends and analyzing statistics to drive strategy on the web site and with email marketing initiatives
Support other digital marketing efforts as needed.
In addition, responsibilities related to maintaining Firm and client information are to be adhered to by all employees. This includes complying with the Firm’s information security policies, protecting Firm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference, and reporting security events or potential events or other security risks to management.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, research and interpersonal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent writing skills, flexibility and the ability to translate complex business and legal concepts into clear and compelling text.
- Prior experience with web tools and marketing automation tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media usage and metrics in a marketing environment.
- Familiarity with professional services and the marketing thereof; experience in the legal services industry, as well as basic transactional and litigation knowledge is a plus.
- An ability to handle time-sensitive requests from lawyers and to generate quality work product in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in standard spreadsheet, database, word processing and presentation applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, as well as with a variety of online information resources. The Firm provides training in core software programs, if needed, to enhance skills and efficiency.

Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- One to two years of work experience, ideally in the communications field.

Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00, dependent on experience
