Business Development Manager-Litigation & Trial (Securities)

Summary
As a Business Development Manager – Litigation & Trial, you will be responsible for working closely with the Securities Litigation Practice Group Chairs to execute the strategies of the practice. The ideal candidate will approach the role with excellent writing skills, critical thinking, and keen attention to detail. Other key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a trusted business development advisor to the partners and counsel of the Securities Litigation Practice
- Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the practice’s market position, client base, matters, and bench of expertise
- Staying abreast of developments and trends in the area of securities litigation and maintaining a pulse on the competitor landscape
- Becoming an expert in the capabilities and strategic priorities of the Securities Litigation practice and leveraging this knowledge to operate as a “dot connector” within the firm
- Supporting the implementation of business development tactics and initiatives in alignment with the strategic objectives of the practice
- Aiding in the execution of cross-selling strategies, including collaborating with relevant BD teams
- Coordinating the research of markets, competition, and client targets conflicts for the practice group to drive strategy
About you
- Possess knowledge of the litigation landscape
- Display high degree of discretion and independent judgment
- Demonstrate the ability to execute multiple work streams and manage priorities effectively
And have
- A Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- A Bachelor’s degree as well as a minimum of seven (7) years of business development experience is desired.
- A minimum of four (4) to five (5) years of relevant experience working with litigation

Salary: $175,000.00-$200,000.00, dependent on location and experience
