Legal and Compliance Administrative Coordinator

Location
• This position will be located in the corporate headquarters in New York City.
• Employee will be expected to work in the office during business hours on all working weekdays.
• Potential flexibility for occasional remote working with prior supervisor approval.
Experience / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, plus minimum of two years in a law firm or in-house legal or compliance department
• Legal assistant, administrative support experience, paralegal, and/or executive assistant experience preferred
• New York State-licensed Notary Public strongly preferred (or willing to become licensed immediately)
• Excellent writing, research, communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Self-starter, with ability to work efficiently and independently
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and willingness to be creative, flexible, improvisational
• High ethical and professional standards, willing to ask questions and raise concerns
• Team-first attitude, accountable, highly collaborative, supportive team member
Job Description
• Providing administrative, coordination, and organizational support to the company’s General Counsel
• Communicating on behalf of the General Counsel with internal and external parties
• Scheduling meetings, calendar coordination, room reservations, T&E management
• CLE management (tracking, scheduling, recordkeeping) for company attorneys
• Covering calls, note-taking, tracking to-dos, progress reporting, back-up support to teammates
• Managing signature requests, including wet-ink and electronic signatures via DocuSign, and notarizations
• Licensing applications and renewals for individual and company licenses (notaries, brokerage, attorney)
• Assisting with team events, activities, celebrations, gifts, equipment, SWAG, and other team-oriented tasks
• Manage team Google Alerts and newsletter subscriptions for tracking relevant industry developments
• Downloading, printing, scanning, filing, shipping, redlining, and other organizational projects and tasks

Salary: $70,000.00-$95,000.00, dependent on experience
