Guest Services Specialist

Summary

As a Guest Services Specialist, you will be responsible for a high level of customer service to external and internal clients which includes receiving clients and vendors, ordering catering, and handling set up, management, and break down for all firm meetings and events taking place at a firm location. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing Event Management System (EMS) with scheduling and organizing conference rooms; assisting with the set up and break down of chairs, tables, and equipment for special events; setting up designated amenities, including refreshments or meals; ensuring set up and configuration accurately matches the EMS report
  • Utilizing Service Now ticketing system for daily tasks and reporting
  • Organizing food for multiple meetings; following EMS report to ensure appropriate room set up and beverages/supplies for designated event
  • Preparing food for meetings at the appropriate time, ensuring food is at appropriate temperature, and ensuring all needed supplies and utensils are also available
  • Remaining available throughout the meeting period to refresh and remove any food or drink items at the appropriate time

About You

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, as well as well-developed and professional interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
  • Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus 

And Have

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one (1) year of guest services attendant or customer service experience
