Lateral Recruiting Assistant

Summary
This position provides administrative and project support to the Manager of Lateral Associate Recruiting & Integration and the Manager of Lateral Partner & Counsel Recruiting. The Lateral Recruiting Assistant must demonstrate sound judgment, ensure confidentiality, and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with internal and external contacts on all levels.
Responsibilities
- Assist with arranging and scheduling lateral candidate interviews and meetings across offices, including maintaining calendars and appointment schedules, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting materials as needed.
- Assist with travel arrangements and related expense invoices for lateral candidates.
- Assist with arranging and scheduling lateral onboarding and orientation.
- Enter detailed applicant interview data into the firm’s applicant tracking system (VI/Desktop).
- Assist with general administrative duties.
- Other projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Collect and enter interview evaluations for candidates.
- Liaise with other groups as needed to collect information, track data and generate reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- One year of relevant work experience preferred and strong administrative background.
- Solid knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint required.
- Advanced skill in MS Excel and knowledge of viRecruit a plus.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient at multi-tasking and able to handle time sensitive projects.
- Possess excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have flexibility in working overtime to meet operating needs particularly during the summer and fall.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work well with internal and external clients.
- Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00, dependent on experience
