Summary
The Legal Talent Assistant will be responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations for the global Counsel and Senior Attorney (CSA) populations. In addition, this individual will support the U.S. Legal Recruiting team and their lateral recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Legal Talent Manager to implement the annual CSA review process:
- Assist in feedback collection process, prepare and update status of annual reviews via trackers and lists, prepare and distribute review file materials and respond to related review inquiries;
- Coordinate with Applications Team to maintain evaluation processes in viDesktop system.
- Liaise with Financial Reporting teams to run and analyze hours-related reports.
- Schedule, prepare and distribute materials for monthly CSA Committee meetings.
- Assist with the annual CSA promotion process, including by organizing and preparing summaries of candidate files and coordinating appropriate onboarding procedures.
- Oversee HRIS (Workday) data entry and reporting related to all HR processes including new hires, terminations, transfers, leaves of absence, promotions, compensation changes, etc. for CSAs globally.
- Work with the Legal Talent Manager on ad-hoc initiatives to enhance the global CSA experience.
- Assist the U.S. Legal Recruiting team with lateral recruiting efforts, including but not limited to:
- Assist with arranging and scheduling lateral candidate interviews and meetings across offices, including maintaining calendars and appointment schedules, booking conference rooms, and preparing meeting materials as needed.
- Enter detailed applicant interview data into the firm’s applicant tracking system (VI/Desktop).
- Collect and enter interview evaluations for candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be comfortable working with lawyers at all seniority levels.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Good judgment; excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
- Flexibility to work longer hours during busier periods.
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a team.
- Candidate must be someone who is proactive, plans ahead, pushes projects forward and meets deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 to $65,000
