Social Media Analyst

Summary
The Social Media Analyst will interact with the firm’s network to promote the firm and its services to their existing and new audiences. The Analyst will be responsible for posting consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms and managing a high volume of daily posts as well as engaging with the firm’s social media audience. This is a highly visible role for a clear and enthusiastic communicator, strong and creative writer, social media expert, and team player. The Analyst will work directly with and report directly to the firm’s Manager, Social Media Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the firm’s social media communications postings for multiple accounts/handles.
- Help to generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos and news).
- Proficient with photoshop and videos tools to help create social media content in real-time.
- Create paid and organic social media campaigns around high impact content and events, including paid for opportunities.
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Social media channel monitoring and competitor analysis.
- Monitor social media campaigns and analytics and develop timely reports.
- Under the manager’s guidance, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor social engagement.
- Collaborate with other teams including digital marketing, business development and design to maximize campaign impact and ensure brand consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
- Incorporate SEO strategies in content creation for added visibility / awareness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Experience with Photoshop to design images and execute design edits under time pressure.
- Experience with writing, editing and social media skills in a commercial capacity and attention to detail.
- Experience with creating and delivering creative social media content (text, images and video).
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with people at all levels in a multicultural, international environment.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage high volumes of content.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and under time pressure.
- Experience with advanced analytical skills — identifying key data sources and using data driven insights to effectively improve business decisions.
- Knowledge of social media channels and social media tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Hootsuite and Wibbitz (is a plus).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a related field.
- 1-3 years of marketing, business development or communications experience in a professional services environment.
- Law firm experience a plus.
Physical Activity/Other Miscellaneous
- Flexibility to work outside of standard work hours as needed and on other projects when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00
