Summary
A midsize Global Law Firm is seeking a Marketing Assistant/Coordinator to join their Marketing Department. This position will focus on assisting attorneys across all practice areas and office locations with marketing activities. This position will report to the firm’s Business Development Operations Manager and interact with all members of the firm’s Marketing and Communication teams as well as firm attorneys and outside vendors and resources.
Responsibilities
- Make day-to-day edits to the firm’s website, including posting articles, news items, etc.
- Assist with the firm’s social media updates
- Coordinate professional photos for attorneys; schedule sessions with photographer, upload photos to website and maintain electronic file of all photos
- Create social media images, Ads and ad hoc designs as needed
- Assist with various CRM database projects, including helping manage targeted marketing lists
- Assist Marketing team with events, including researching venues, gifts, and other event details
- Assist with evaluating and coordinating sponsorship opportunities and attorney conferences
- Assist with holiday program, including coordination of holiday cards, gifts, list management, etc.
- Maintain accurate record of marketing expenses and prepare check requests for approval
- Develop strong working relationships with attorneys across all firm offices and the other members of the Marketing and Communication teams
- Support the Marketing and Communication responsibilities to other firm departments and outside vendors
- Available to respond to requests during hours outside of the workday, when necessary
- Administrative and other projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and excellent academic record from a 4-year accredited college or university required
- Passionate about a career in Marketing
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail
- Competency with PC applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity with social media networks like LinkedIn and Twitter
- Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, and or Photoshop preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000 to $80,000, based on experience
