A leading international law firm that provides innovative legal solutions to many of the world’s top financial institutions and Fortune Global 500 companies has an opening for a Global Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator in their New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, or San Francisco offices.  With offices across the U.S. and the world, they have the global reach and extensive capabilities to provide personalized service wherever their clients’ needs take them.

The Coordinator, Global Diversity & Inclusion serves as a key member of the firm-wide diversity and inclusion team, working across all levels of the firm to ensure that diversity remains a priority and is closely linked to the Firm’s overall business strategy. The Coordinator supports and advances the diversity strategy of the firm through a variety of programs and projects.

In this capacity, the Coordinator will:

  • Strategize and interface with all various levels of attorneys and professional staff across the firm on diversity program execution;
  • Direct and work with diversity affinity groups on annual business plans, budget requests and programs;
  • Manage cross-office cultural programs and speaker events;
  • Work with Data Analysts and Business Development on diversity surveys and client requests;
  • Prepare, draft and publish marketing and communications materials about the firm’s diversity efforts for internal and external audiences;
  • Create presentations and talking points for meetings and events;
  • Work with external organizations on sponsorships, events and other diversity programs;
  • Maintain and track team deliverables; provide general administrative support to the department; manage global Diversity calendars and inboxes; and
  • Handle additional related projects as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ of diversity experience in a corporate setting (professional services or legal environment preferred);
  • Ability to work with varying levels of attorneys and staff in a fast paced, multifaceted department;
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Advanced proficiency in online research and internet resources;
  • Advanced proficiency in English language, including punctuation, spelling, grammar and writing skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree required; and
  • Travel as needed.

 

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$85,000.00, dependent on location and experience
