An Am Law 50 law firm with offices worldwide, has an opening for a Knowledge Management Business Analyst (User Experience) within their Research & Information Services Department.  This role can be based in their San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Boston, New York or D.C. office.

The Opportunity 

The Knowledge Management Business Analyst will play an essential role in supporting the Firm’s ability to deliver outstanding results for their clients. This individual will be an independent thinker with strong communication skills. The position demands excellent technical and analytical skills and will be empowered to explore ways to continually improve the exchange of knowledge among the firm’s staff with the ultimate goal of creating an integrated approach to knowledge management. The KM Business Analyst works with a small team, implementing cutting-edge online practice solutions firm-wide.

Ideal Candidate       

• BA/BS Degree in Information or Business Management, Library Science or similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in knowledge management, strategic planning, information technology, data/systems integration development, and change management.
• Experience working on Agile and SDLC projects.
• Strong understanding of knowledge management, trends in the industry as they pertain to law firms, knowledge of the technologies available to effectively deliver information and knowledge services.
• Demonstrated track record of developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of the business.
